Gyaana
Books is a new trade publishing venture based in Delhi.
Gyaana comes from the Hindi word ‘gyaan’ (knowledge),
and is synonymous with Saraswati, the Goddess of Knowledge.
Why opt for trade publishing when there are several
Titanics out there sailing the same literary seas?
Asian writing in English is an evolving genre, gaining
popularity within Asia and overseas. There are countless
stories from various parts of Asia, and Asians abroad,
still waiting to be told. There are some exceptional
writers still waiting to exhibit their skills.
Our little coracle has been set afloat to scout for
such versatility, original ideas, and genuine talent.
Gyaana aims to bring to writers, whether established
or emerging, a new dais for expression; and to book
lovers, a worthwhile reading experience.
